October 13, 2021: Navigating Difficult News Events with Children: A Parent Toolkit | Belmont Public Library and Belmont Wellness Coalition hosted this virtual event for parents. Lisa Gibalerio, MPH and Sophia Suarez-Friedman, LCSW of the Belmont Wellness Coalition gave tips on how to talk with kids about difficult news events.

March 3, 2021: Strategies for Supporting Teens: Build Your Tool Box | The McLean School Consultation Service, in partnership with the Belmont Wellness Coalition, hosted a webinar providing concrete strategies for parents supporting tweens and teens, including: 1) what gets in the way of connecting with your child, 2) validation as a way to connect, and 3) warning signs.
